1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using JSON at Work ("the Application") or visiting jsonatwork.com ("the Website"), you agree to these Terms of Service ("Terms") and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, you may not use the Service. These Terms apply to all users, including purchasers and any end users permitted to operate under a purchased license.

2. License and Permitted Use

Subject to your compliance with these Terms, JSON at Work grants you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to install and use the Application on a single device per purchased license.

You may purchase additional licenses to install the Application on additional devices. Each license is tied to one device at a time.

You may not: sublicense, sell, resell, rent, lease, or transfer your license; reverse engineer or decompile the Application; remove any proprietary notices; or use the Application in any manner that violates applicable law.

3. Purchases and Payment

All purchases are subject to the pricing displayed at the time of purchase. Prices are in US dollars unless otherwise stated. Payment is processed by a third-party payment processor; JSON at Work does not store your payment information.

Due to the digital nature of the Application, all sales are final unless otherwise required by applicable law. Please review the features and system requirements before purchasing.

4. Updates and Support

Each purchased license includes a minimum of one (1) year of security updates from the date of purchase. Security updates address vulnerabilities and are provided at our sole discretion.

Feature updates and new major versions may be offered as separate purchases. We will communicate the support status of each version through the Website.

5. Intellectual Property

The Application, Website, and all associated content, trademarks, and intellectual property are owned by JSON at Work or its licensors. Nothing in these Terms transfers any ownership rights to you. Your license is limited to use as described herein.

6. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

We do not warrant that the Application will be error-free, uninterrupted, or free from harmful components, or that defects will be corrected.

7. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, JSON AT WORK SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF DATA, PROFITS, OR REVENUE, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE, EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID FOR THE LICENSE IN THE TWELVE MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.

8. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the applicable jurisdiction, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in that jurisdiction.

9. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will post the revised Terms on this page with an updated date. Your continued use of the Service after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
